 4.  Who would be the audience for your media product?

I explored the website, www.findyourtribe.co.uk at which I took the quiz to find out which tribe I was from with my ideal audience in mind. The result was:

Townie! Job might be a bit boring but it brings home the bacon and helps you save up for those two weeks away to Spain. Weekends are set in stone – trip to the shops in town, buy yourself something nice, head to the All Bar One with friends, have a laugh, maybe go for a club, as long as there’s none of the indie weirdo music.

This audience suits our movie very well, because for example boys they would watch comedies but girls more like Townies will watch girly stuff kind of sad, happy and romantic. Even me I am one of that girls so I think it is a perfect audience.

We tried to attract our perfect audience member by creating our film with our audience solely in mind. We tried to create a character that would be familiar to the audience, in the way they look, or just that they can relate to her through other films/ books they have read. The audience we would refer to was categorised as a Townie, known for their stylish cloths more like socialising people. Keeping this mind we tried to create a theme and setting which would suit our audiences expectations. Our setting was a bright colourful room and all around our room were warm pinkish colours.
